How KitchenZap Creates Content
Last updated: October 2026
KitchenZap is written by Yousuf Ademnur. This page explains how I research, write, test and update everything on the site, so you know what you can expect from every guide and recipe.
Recipes and brewing guides
- Every recipe gives exact amounts, in grams and in cups or spoons where possible.
- Coffee and tea ratios match the ones used in our free KitchenZap tools, so the guides and calculators always agree. Our French press starting point is 1:15, and cold brew concentrate is 1:4 to 1:5.
- Not every recipe is made in my kitchen before it is published. Every recipe is built on tested base ratios and standard kitchen measurements, checked against our tools, and updated when I or readers find a better method.
Health and wellness information
- KitchenZap is not a medical site. Nothing here diagnoses, treats or cures any condition.
- Health information comes from trusted sources such as the U.S. National Institutes of Health (including NCCIH), university extension services and peer-reviewed research. Sources are linked in the article.
- I use careful language: when research is early or mixed, I say so.
- Articles include safety notes for pregnancy, medications and ingredients that need care, such as cooking elderberries and choosing Ceylon cinnamon for daily use.
- I never invent personal results, people or numbers.
How AI tools are used
I use AI tools to help draft articles and to create some of the images on this site. Every article is reviewed, edited and fact-checked by me before it is published, and I am responsible for everything that appears on KitchenZap.
Updates and corrections
Articles show the date they were last updated. If you spot a mistake, please tell me and I will check and correct it.
Affiliate links and ads
KitchenZap earns money from display ads and affiliate links, including the Amazon Associates program. If you buy through a link, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes what I recommend.
